Horganic’s aim is the development and implementation of the experiential methodologies developed to improve the learning and social skills of people with mental illness. The methods compliment the gardening curriculum and the aim is help the trainees to acquire or improve important skills like conflict resolutions, communication, self-esteem, team work, social integration, etc. Changes, achieved through sociodrama, action learning and role-playing are essential to allow personal growth.
The Group work aims to improve the following concepts and skills:

- Conflict resolution.
- Communication: self-expression, maintaining boundaries and leaving space for the others.
- Integration: getting to know each other and creating a safe working environment.
- Hierarchy: giving and taking orders and understanding leadership.
- Self-development: improving self-esteem, self-discipline and self-motivation.
